Pumpkins

By Taylor Cloutier

The glow of two eyes pierces you.
A nose points you where to go
A smile, missing teeth is stained where my knife slipped.
The face reminds you of what you came for, why you're here: Halloween.
The night comes once a year; the night calls all the monsters.
It is the night we live for, the night we fear.
Its the night never to forget.
It's Halloween!
