The war on terror seems unwinnable to a lot of Americans but it is truly anything but. Over the past couple of months the United States military has killed major leaders of the ruthless Taliban and al-Qaeda regimes.
How are you going to write a persuasive essay about this? I feel like maybe the thesis needs more. This seems more like a fact that is pretty one sided. What are you going to prove?
use more definitive terms then "the past couple", it will make the point stronger.
